An especially attentive welcome came from Giuseppe we were able to leave our bags in the hotel reception after a morning check out all day and could then later make use of the wifi and relaxation area, even being provided with complimentary bottle of Prosecco whilst we waited to leave for the airport. We were welcomed warmly and anything we needed was provided quickly. All totally manageable on foot and with a few stops for coffee / ice cream / pizza! The service at the hotel was very friendly and efficient. During our short stay we visited the Pantheon the Vatican Castel San Angelo Piazza di Spagna and the Trevi Fountain. It is around the corner from Piazza di Spagna. Mario de Fiori 37 is one of a small handful of boutique hotels owned by Alberto Moncada, whose skill at converting centuries-old townhouses into apartment-style hotels has resulted in some remarkable, intimate accommodations in one of Rome’s most vibrant and tourist-saturated neighborhoods. Mario de' Fiori 37 turned out to be a great choice - 10 minutes from Termini (using the metro) and right next to the main shopping area of the city. With just 48 hours to see the sights of Rome, we wanted to find a hotel that was both central to the sights and within easy access of Termini station (and airport connections).
